Languages are where my work started. I taught my first English class in Colombia in 2016 and have taught ever since. Today I teach, translate and adapt copy between markets, and host international events.

How I teach
The first lesson is not a lesson. It is a conversation. I want to know what you do, what you are interested in, and how you actually learn, because a person who learns by talking needs a different hour from a person who learns by writing things down. After that I build the course around you. Your work, your hobbies, the situations you will really be in.

Two things I am asked for most
Aviation English
For pilots and aspiring pilots, wherever you are. We work on the language of radio communication, on the physics and the mechanics of flight, and on the vocabulary you need to be precise under pressure. Grammar where grammar is the thing getting in the way. Then role plays, exercises and tasks, because in a cockpit you do not get to prepare your sentence first.
Business English
British and American English for the situations your job actually puts you in. Speaking up in a weekly check-in without rehearsing it in your head first. Presenting to a room and keeping it. Holding a conversation at a conference when the small talk matters as much as the agenda. We work on the register, the filler phrases that buy you a second, and the difference between sounding fluent and sounding sure of yourself.
Translation and cultural adaptation
Translation carries words across. Adaptation carries meaning. I rewrite websites, brand messaging and campaign copy for German, Italian, Spanish, Danish and English-speaking markets so it lands the way the original was meant to.
Speaking and moderation
I host and moderate conferences, panels and pitch events in all five languages. Recent: moderating startup pitch events at Denmark's national startup accelerator in Copenhagen, and hosting a BuyerForesight evening for senior B2B marketers at the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi in Rome, booked through Golden Goose Events.
